- Their audit results indicate use of 96% recycled gold and 97% recycled silver. They produce lab grown diamonds and have also introduced the Renewable Collection, a new collection of lab diamonds grown, cut, and polished with 100% renewable energy from wind and solar.
- They incentivize small-scale certified miners to use responsible mining practices with low environmental impact, safe and reduced handling of chemicals or chemical-free extraction, and protection of water supplies.

Their gemstone suppliers must demonstrate traceability in their supply chains and have close relationships with their mining sources.
- They do not use any animal derived ingredients in their products.
- They started the Brilliant Earth Foundation to further their impact and since then, they have donated $2 million towards improving communities—from the areas where diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals are mined, to the communities where their teams and customers live.
